Welcome to my blog. Happy Father's Day to all those that are celebrating with the men they love most. I will blog my life as DYGoddess on earth. It's a tough job, but someone has to do it, and I do it so well. You will get to know me if you visit and read. I am lots of things to lots of people: Mother, sister, daughter, aunt, co-worker, music lover, defender of the underdog and a great cook. I'm also funny, intelligent and nice to look at. I enjoy every day on this planet, if only because I make it a point to.
I saw Craig Ferguson at Massey Hall last night in Toronto. My, my, my. Craig. I just loved his performance! He was so hilarious, and looks fabulous, I laughed the entire show. Craig is so funny and endearing, what a complex guy. Love that! He never stops moving, he's so energetic on stage.

I know they are not stellar pics, but you'll get the idea. He never stopped moving and I am still learning how to use my camera I bought for my birthday. The day Craig turned 1 year and two months old, I was born. Imagine that. Enjoy!
The first out of focus photo... the story behind it is this: As he was leaving the stage a woman yelled out "What have we learned!" and he laughed and walked to the front of the stage and kneeled down. What a doll! The crowd in Toronto LOVED him.
Craig Ferguson is such a manly man, those Scots don't give women a break, they're simply devastating. He's touring right now. He's in Edmonton today and then heading back to the US (I think). Here's a link to his tour, if you get a chance to see him on tour ANYWHERE: GO!! http://www.cbs.com/latenight/latelate/craiglive.shtml
I don't want to reveal details of the show, but I can tell you this: He is clever, sexy and real. He has an incredibly funny stand up routine which is very different from his Late, Late Show. I like that! He showed no mercy for Dubya or Tom Cruise. He loves Sean Connery (who doesn't?!) and does a wicked imitation of him. I'll be witness to say that he never said a bad word about Oprah. Seriously. He also spoke about his life, his alcoholism and rehab, his Scottish mother, and emigrating to the United States. Too much to list, so go and see for yourself.
One of my favourite authors and fellow Bad Girl, NM Kelby http://www.nmkelby.com/ just released a new book, "Murder At the Bad Girl's Bar and Grill". I absolutely love her writing, and the new book and wanted to give a copy to Craig because there is a fabulous Scottish character in the book, "Solas".
I have never been backward about being forward and managed to get a copy of the book brought back to him before the show. I hope he reads the book, press release and my wee card I wrote him. Dwight Yoakam owns the film rights to this book, along with NM Kelby's other book called "Whale Season". That is another great read, I highly recommend you get them asap. If you email the author, she will send you a bookplate and cool tattoos, for free! I will blog her another time, you'll be glad I did.
I really think he should invite her on the show to talk about Whale Season and Murder At The Bad Girl's Bar and Grill, he and his audience would love her!
I waited at the Stage Door with a bunch of fans after the show but Craig took too long to come out! It's a shame really, I had this beautiful low cut top on and he could have given me a severe "motorboat". Perhaps not on the street outside the Stage Door, but I am hoping he can spare 30 seconds another night. Get your motor running Craig and Happy Father's Day!
